終於被我等到了
Shane Acker 的短片作品9，一年多前就好想看，可是頂多都只有trailer而已，連西瓜秀2005DVD裡面也沒看到蹤影，我想是因為要參加Academy Award Shorts的關係所以沒法收錄。終於今天看到了。
Shane Acker的 9 : 總共花了4.5年做的MFA畢業製作。
另外挺有趣的是Jeff Newitt以前的畢業作品。在看之前請大家可以先看一下我做的stop motion test: the pitcher，當作品酒前除味的杯水，就可以知道我看到這個片子是如何的震撼。
Loves Me...Loves Me Not : Jeff Newitt非常流暢的stop motion short, 故事也挺有趣的。他是aardman的animator，同時也是這次Flushed Away的Lead Animator。

wow...saw his resume..this guy is insane~~
有個問題...向這總花了一兩年...甚至4年以上的MFA 作品...他們畢業之後同常會Sepcialize in one particular area such as animation or visual effects mah? 還有..他們所謂的Thesis 作品..這個Thesis 他們主要呈現是什麼...因為我感覺跟一班film school 出來的作品沒啥兩樣啊..只是故事長了很多.
I think overall this piece is very cool interms of its camera movement..lighting soso cause sometimes it's quiet dark for me to see. animation is great but sometimes i found some classical element somehow not working here because it's an action piece.
花了4.5年..這個人也還真猛
堅持好製作的示範，不過也是對好故事好概念的堅持。長度只是為了來表現概念，表現導演需要傳達的主題，並不只是為了做長而已。好作品有很多主觀意識上的平衡，在這個作品的堅持上都看的到。

I almost want to see more of this piece. It's pretty emotional gripping, I sure hope this can be turned into a feature.
Animators turning into storyteller is almost like a natural progression... I think I need to watch more films and start writing..and drawing.. and working out..
AHH SO MANY THINGS TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME
but back onto the topic, I think this is a masterpiece.
