Hi Dony, my advice is.. don't hold back! When packaging your dvd, case.. don't save up, use the materials that the recruiters will think that they're respected. You've already spent 20-30k of tuition, I don't really get how many people would risk their chances of getting hired by holding back a few dollars per package. Package it so that it will leave good impressions!
是啊，最好跟 lucas film 說，你們那個什麼爛 star war , SUCKS!
Interview 前一定要了解那家公司的歷史跟背景. 最好不要說你認識公司的誰誰誰, 以免讓人覺得你想靠關係進來.
然後最重要的是 be yourself~
PS: 千萬不要穿西裝
真的嗎,不要說你認識誰誰誰?我以為這行本來就要靠關係,不是有認識的介紹比較進得去嗎
dony,最好要先練習一下怎麼回答一些基本問題,多收集別人面試被問過的問題..找出適合你的答案,尤其國際學生他們會問你有關簽証,我被問過為什麼想留在溫哥華,會不會想回家,我那時應該大叫"I love Vancouver!!"才對．．．哈．．
是要靠關係, 不過不是你說,而是讓你朋友幫你說. 把你朋友寫在referance上就好勒, 公司自己會去問, 不過還是要看interview妳的人啦 ~
Usually when you got the interview (in our field), you are already halfway in, the success rate I think of getting hired at that point should be somewhere like 70%. Like Jimmy said, just be yourself, if you are funny, use your humor, they would love to see that the person they're going to work with for the next few months is easy to get along.
Networkings are important.. I heard over here at Ubi, 90% got in by connections!
